Controls input gain of Ôaux returnÕ sockets on the back of the mixer and sends them to the master faders. Like a stripped-down channel. |

Some mixers have a separate output which copies the master faders mix and sends it out a different socket. |

Tape output (knob) |
|
|
Most mixers have a separate input and output to connect a tape recorder to for recording. This knob adjusts the level sent to the tape machine. |

Pan (knob) |

Fades between the left and right output channels (speakers). Move the knob all the way to the left and you only send to the left speaker. For most pianobar use, set at Õ12 oÕclockÕ to pan centre. Can also be found on each channel. |
